CodeSyntax PLONECONF 2024: Our contribution and influence in the world of open technologies
PLONECONF is an annual event for the Plone community and has become a reference in the world of open-source software. CodeSyntax, as the organizer of last year's edition, PLONECONF 2023, will also participate this year, not only as a sponsor but by making direct contributions. At PLONECONF 2024, which will be held in the capital, Brasília, we will offer several talks and training sessions with the aim of sharing knowledge in the field of open technologies.
Our team members, Mikel Larreategi and Lur Ibargutxi, will not only give talks; they will also provide training to showcase Plone’s capabilities to the open technology community, sharing their expertise and learning from others to strengthen the community. In this way, we demonstrate CodeSyntax’s commitment to fostering innovation and sustainable development through technology.
"Multilingual Plone & Volto," "Helping a 100 Year Organization with Its Web Presence" or "How (and Why) We Keep Doing Plone Classic" are, for example, some of the training sessions and talks that our colleagues will offer at the conference in Brasília.
Our work with PLONE is not just theoretical; in practice, we collaborate with some of the most important institutions in Europe and around the world. For example, we have developed the 'Emission Review Tools' for the European Environment Agency (EEA), and we have also participated in the 'Copernicus Land Monitoring Service Portal' project. Additionally, we have developed pioneering projects for the ULMA group and for ONCE, adapting to their specific needs.
On the other hand, our projects in the cultural field are also noteworthy. We have worked for the Institut Culturel Basque, the Ministry of Culture - National Auditorium, and for several municipalities and universities, such as the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC), the University of Extremadura, Mondragon University, IMH, or IKASLAN, the Basque Country’s network of Vocational Training centers, as well as INDEUS, the Basque Industrial Platform.
Our presence at PLONECONF 2024 will therefore serve to showcase CodeSyntax's leadership in the field of open technologies, and it will be a unique opportunity to highlight the practical applications of Plone technology. We aim to strengthen our expertise in areas like multilingualism, Python, Django, Plone, and Volto, and our participation in this event will allow us to showcase our contributions to both our clients and the community.
We encourage you to follow us on social media and get in touch with us to learn more about PLONECONF 2024 and our projects. We want to share our vision and experience with you in this adventure within the world of open technologies.
